Food Intolerance Testing (FIT)

KBMO-Logo
The FIT Test is the most sensitive food test available using patented technology. The multiple pathway approach allows us to look at not only food sensitivities but also inflammation and gut permeability all from one test. We also provide best in class compliance tools including a personalized meal plan and a patient app.

Higher levels of IgEs can be detected whether you have recently eaten the particular food.

Allergic symptoms differ from person to person. Not every individual with high levels of IgE for a particular food will experience an allergic reaction to it.

Higher IgE antibody levels may mean you have a higher likelihood of having a food allergy. However, the level of IgE to a particular food does not necessarily indicate how severe an allergic reaction may be, findings over time suggest the longer you are exposed to these foods, the more inflammation occurs, eventually leading to leaky gut and autoimmune disorders.

A positive result means IgE antibodies were detected in your blood for a particular food. It is recommended that you omit these foods from your diet and recheck after 1 year.

This test does not require fasting.

Zonulin (Leaky Gut Indicator) measures the permeability of the intestinal wall.  Elevated Zonilin levels indicate the presence of leaky gut, which prevents the intestines from functioning properly.  If left untreated, elevated Zonulin can lead to various diseases including Autoimmune Disease, Celiac Disease, Rheumatoid Arthritis and IBS.  It is a reversible protein so ideal to use for both baselining and retesting patients 3-6 months post FIT test.
