Health Benefits of Far Infrared Heat

Sweating is the body’s safe and natural way to heal & stay healthy. Far infrared heats the body directly causing a rise in core temperature resulting in a deep, detoxifying sweat at the cellular level, where toxins reside.

Relaxation
unlike traditional saunas which operate at extremely harsh temperatures, infrared is a gentle, soothing and therapeutic heat that promotes relaxation and improved sleep.

Infrared sauna therapy helps you relax while receiving an invigorating deep tissue sweat, leaving you fully refreshed after each session.

Pain Relief
Infrared heat penetrates tissue, joints, and muscles to relieve anything from minor aches and pains to chronic pain conditions such as fibromyalgia. Pain management professionals incorporate infrared heat therapy into treatment plans to decrease pain and muscle spasms and to speed up recovery time.

Research shows that specific parts of the infrared spectrum are effective at producing different health benefits. Our 3-in-1 sauna blends the optimal wavelengths—near, mid, and far—to achieve specific results. Six preset wellness programs are ready to use at the touch of a button.

Near Infrared

Near infrared (NIR)

Near infrared (NIR) is the shortest infrared wavelength.  Scientific research shows that when delivered at the vital wavelength of 880nm, without extreme heat or light, NIR promotes skin renewalcell healthwound healing, and tissue growth.  LEDs are effective because they can trigger a natural photo-biochemical reaction, similar to how plants use chlorophyll to convert sunlight into plant tissue.  And when the wave is pulsed, it can travel deeper into tissues.  mPulse saunas got their name because the LED pulsate for optimal benefits.

Mid Infrared

Mid infrared (MIR) is a longer wavelength that can penetrate deeper into the body’s soft tissue where inflammation occurs and speeds up the healing process. To produce MIR, sauna heaters must be able to maintain a surface temperature of 210⁰C. Though many sauna companies claim to provide full spectrum, the material used in their heaters actually melts at the high temperature required for MIR. We worked with engineers and scientists to source a high tech material made to withstand the temperature required.

Far Infrared

The longest wavelength, far infrared (FIR)

The longest wavelength, far infrared (FIR), reaches deepest into the body, where toxins are stored. We’ve already achieved the most effective far infrared heater with our highly emissive Solocarbon  heater coating  and have applied that same coating to our polyimide panel.  Instead of being sandwiched between layers, the coating is on the exterior of the heating panel.  During the testing process, we discovered this application makes it 99% emissive!
